Description: NISCORT celebrated WORLD INDIGENOUS DAY
NISCORT celebrated WORLD INDIGENOUS DAY with an enthusiastic gusto. It was beautiful to see both the staff and students dressed in Indigenous attires of different parts of India. The guests and a student representative were specially welcomed with the washing of the hands- a special cultural aspect of our Indigenous people from Chotanagpur.
The Director, Fr Robinson Rodrigues, the Principal, Dr Ritu Dubeytiwari and the organising team highlighted the importance of our Indigenous Culture and the Indigenous People who have been preservers of Nature. The best dressed students were chosen as Best Dressed Mr Indigene 2024 and Best Dressed Ms Indigene 2024. Everyone joined in the chain dance- a beautiful culture of the tribes from Chotanagpur region.
